Lisa Landrum

Lisa Landrum is Professor and Chair of the Department of Architectural Science at Toronto Metropolitan University. She was previously, Associate Dean Research and professor of architecture at the University of Manitoba, where she taught for 15 years. An RAIC Fellow and registered architect, Lisa is dedicated to strengthening bonds between academia and practice, while leveraging architecture’s potential for justice and joy. She is an executive member of Building Equality in Architecture BEA-Prairies and steering group member of Rise for Architecture. In 2019, Lisa launched and led the Canadian Architecture Forums on Education (CAFE), involving all CCUSA schools in critical and inspiring conversations on the future of architecture. She holds a professional B.Arch from Carleton University, and a post-professional Master’s and PhD in Architectural History and Theory from McGill.
