What We Do at CACB

Accreditation
Canada offers accredited Architecture programs nationwide for students interested in pursuing a creative career in architecture.

Academic Certification
Graduates of professional architecture programs need CACB Academic Certification, followed by Internship and Examination for registration.

Education Credential Assessment (ECA)
Graduates or foreign architects seeking immigration must obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from CACB ECA Service.

Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect (BEFA)
If you are an architect from abroad with extensive experience and wish to continue your career in Canada, you may be eligible for the program that offers an alternative pathway to licensure in Canada.
