Volunteers are the lifeblood of non-profit organizations. They bring immense value and contribute to their success in various ways.
The CACB relies heavily on its volunteers who immensely contribute to the success of its Governance and Operations.

The CACB volunteers consist of:

• Board of Directors
• Academic Certification Program Assessors
• Accreditation Program Visiting Teams Members
• Broadly Experienced Foreign Architects Program Assessors

Currently, the CACB counts on:

• 10 Directors on its Board;
• 5 Academic Assessors;
• 50 Accreditation Visiting Team Members; and
• 73 BEFA Assessors.

Volunteer positions are filled through the calls for nominations released by the CACB to the Regulatory Organizations of Architecture in Canada (ROAC), the Canadian Council of University School of Architecture (CCUSA), and the Canadian Architectural Student Association (CASA).

The calls for nominations are specific to the Program and its needs.

• CACB CALL FOR NOMINATIONS  for Directors: Nomination Package released annually on March 15 to ROAC and CCUSA by the Nominating Committee. 
• CCUSA CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – Visiting Team Members_Accreditation: Released when needed by the CACB to the CCUSA for Educators.
• ROAC CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – Visiting Team Members_Accreditation: Released when needed by the CACB to the ROAC for Practitioners and Intern Architects.
• BEFA ASSESSORS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Released on behalf of CACB to ROAC by the ROAC Standing Committee: Overview of BEFA Assessor Role and Qualifications.
