Settimo Vilardi, OAA, M.Arch, BFA, LEED AP, FRAIC, is a Windsor-based architect with more than 22 years of experience in residential, institutional, commercial, and civic projects, he is principal and co-owner of Archon Architects Incorporated.
Vilardi served two council terms with the Ontario Association of Architects holding positions as the Immediate Past President, President, Senior Vice President & Treasurer and as a key participant on various committees relating to practice, governance, government outreach, and finance.
Vilardi serves as one of the lecturers for the OAA’s Fundamentals of Running an Architectural Practice Course. He is also a board director for Regulatory Organizations of Architects in Ontario, and past chair of the Windsor Region Society of Architects (WRSA) and Prodemnity Insurance.
Brief Statement of Motivation for Joining CACB Board
My motivation for joining the Board stems from my deep interest in maintaining a strong assessment and certification system for academic qualification for architecture graduates in Canada as well as a fair and robust accreditation of professional architecture programs that maintains our position as a global leader in the education and profession of architecture.
