COVID-19: Operational updates
In response to COVID-19, The Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) has adopted a series of measures and actions to maintain its operations and to ensure its staff, volunteers, and partners’ safety.
We are not accepting walk-in meetings at this time. Meetings are by appointment only and must adhere to Covid-19 safety and physical distancing measures. A mask must be worn, hands must be sanitized upon entering the office, and a physical distance of a minimum 2 meters must be maintained throughout the duration of the meeting. To schedule an appointment please call 613-241-8399 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, staff members are working from home with a limited individual presence in office. The length of this measure will be aligned with Public Health recommendations.

Academic Certification Program
Applications for Academic certification (hard copy and online) are still accepted and received. The assessment Process has been adapted to the COVID-19 outbreak and kept running. Delays are expected in the assessment timelines but we are working hard and doing our best to reduce any impact on applicants.
BEFA (Broadly Experienced Foreign Architects) Program
Same as the Academic Certification Program, applications for BEFA certification are still accepted and received. The assessment Process is still running as usual and according to the established timelines
By precaution, all 2020 interviews continue to be postponed until further notice. New dates will be released when regular operations are safe to resume.
Thank you for your understanding and patience,
