Anna Richter
DIRECTOR
An Architect practicing in Toronto for decades, rendering full services on projects ranging in scope, scale and nature, I have also happily served on the OAA’s Interns’ Committee previously and currently continue to participate on a regulatory committee. (More at ararchitects.ca) I am honoured to be jointly appointed to CACB by ROAC (formerly CALA) and CCUSA. The CACB Director’s role offers opportunity to support emerging professionals. Cultivating architectural practice in Canada as a valuable endeavour for a range of architectural graduates with varying experiences and voices, and it becoming more equitable, diverse and inclusive, is motivating.
CACB Engagement
Volunteering with the CACB contributes to the confluence of education and inspired, responsible architectural practice. The architectural community (practitioners, educators and regulators) can augment its service to others by advancing enhanced understanding, engagement and sustained leadership in the design and process of creating spaces and places for people in Canada.
