Required time to complete your application depends on the mode of certification that applies to you:
No more than 2 hours for the candidates of the accredited programs and the registered architects before 1976 and 1992; and
Between 2 and 5 hours for candidates of non-accredited programs and RAIC Syllabus program.

1-For graduates of accredited programs by the CACB and the NAAB it is recommended to have handy the following information/documents: name of the program/diploma, years of studies and graduation, and transcript of your professional degree in Architecture.

Online Application-Academic Certification
2-For graduates of the following programs:
• Programs of Canadian Schools of Architecture prior to the implementation of the Accreditation System in 1991;
• Programs of Foreign Schools of Architecture including the graduates of Canberra Accord Signatories since January 1, 2010; and
• Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Syllabus Program.
It is recommended to have handy the following information/documents:
– Name of the program/diploma;
– Years of studies and graduation;
– Transcript of your professional degree in Architecture;
– Official Course Calendar/ syllabus from the university including the description of the courses you have completed;
– Course names and Course numbers or codes;
– Course credits or semester hours;
– Year courses were taken; and
– Length of academic semester in terms of weeks.
